Xun Sun, OSU Music Director, was instrumental in the recognition of Helen Foster Snow with the statue at the Main Street Park. His Chinese friends and associates designed, built, and funded the project in recognition of the Cedar City native who made a positive impact on modern China.

Mr. An Wei was a friend of Mr. Edgar Snow and Helen Foster Snow. Mr. An Wei visited Edgar and Halen in the USA several times. After Helen died Mr. An Wei was still in contact with Helen's family and organized symposiums of the Snows in both the USA and China. These pictures were taken on September 17, 2017( by Ling Yu) when he visited Salt Lake City temple square with his Helen Foster Snow research team. He contributed significantly to the study of the Snows.
